Family Summer Fun in Carpentersville

Carpenter Park
Carpenter Park boasts nearly 20 acres of open space in the center of the village and hosts an array of activities including public ceremonies, pick-up sports games, festivals like Burger Fest and El Grito. It’s also home to Concerts in the Park, Movies in the Park, and the Veterans Garden.
“Find the Fox” Tours
Friends of the Fox River leads a series of 10 guided, informative canoe trips on five different areas of the Fox River. These trips explore the river and its relationship with the land that creates it. On July 14 & 28 the tour will tour the Carpentersville dam. Dolphin Cove Family Aquatic Center
There are countless ways to splash away the summer heat at Dolphin Cove Family Aquatic Center. In addition to water slides, interactive water play, geysers, a beach area, and jungle gym, Dolphin Cove offers family-friendly events throughout the summer. Odd Fellows “Rock the Fox” Music Fest
Get ready to rock at the annual Fox Music Fest in Carpenter Park. This admission-free three-day event is August 2-4 and is packed with fun for all ages. Guests enjoy a weekend packed with musical performances, carnival rides, a car show, a slew of food vendors, and many other family-focused activities. New this year? Theodore The Mechanical Bull! Burgerfest
Sample some of the best burgers in the North West Chicagoland ‘burbs! Restaurants from across the Chicago area will bring their a-game in hopes of taking home the title of Best Burger. Festival goers will also enjoy live music and fun for the kids in the Kids Zone.
